You searched for: I’ve Heard Really Bad Things About Selling Mary Kay But What About Just Registering For The Discount?

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their skincare products, but I hate to pay full price and have had bad experiences with the ebay sellers. Is there a minimum purchase required to get the full 50% discount and is it ok to only place a few orders a year? I don’t want to make money off Mary Kay but also I’ve heard horror stories about people losing money because they buy too much inventory. So I just need to know the absolute least amount of orders I would need to place, thanks.

In order to receive the 50% discount, you must place an order of $200 wholesale (you will receive $400 in retail products) – you can choose any items you wish that equal $400 and you will only pay $200.
Then, you are able to receive the 50% discount for any purchase regardless of the order size for the next 3 months.
If you decide you need more products 6 or 7 months after you place that initial “activating” order, then you will have to order $200 wholesale again.
As long as you place 1 $200 wholesale order every 12 months, you’ll be able to continue to receive the discount.
If you love the products, it really is a good deal to become a consultant in order to receive the products at half off. Many people do it. I am happy to give you more info on how to sign up if you don’t alread know a consultant.

  2. i dont kno about mary kay but you can try avon. find an avon representative near you and ask them wat to do, but i heard it works and you dont lose money.

Zimmer explained it very well i just wanted to add you can go a full year without placing an order after the year if you have not placed and order you are no longer a consultant I have people on my team that just do personal use ordering every few months and some twice a year one only just before the Holidays.
I started as personal use inventory is not mandatory it is for people that want to make this a business like any store you go in to buy you want it now mary kay allows you that option if you want it.
There is a lot of negative and incorrect info out there about Mary Kay on the Internet. Most of this info comes from disillusioned former consultants who weren’t able to make a go of it for whatever reason. The reality is that you get out of this business what you put into it. If you don’t do the work, the clients and sales will not fall into your lap. This business isn’t for everyone, but if you’re interested in giving it a try, it has a great Commission structure, fantastic training and wonderful support from sister consultants. What you do with that is up to you.
