You searched for: Will Lowering Adderall Dose (currently 60 Mg Per Day) Reduce Skin Problems And Breakouts?
I’ve been taking Adderall for the last 2 years to help control my ADD. It has definitely helped and going off it completely is not an option. Prior to taking Adderall, my skin was pretty clear without much effort. Now I go to great lengths (quality skincare products, strict diet/vitamin regimens, lots and lots of water, etc.) to keep my skin clear but to no avail. Is it possible to eliminate or reduce skin issues by lowering the dosage?
If you have similar experiences, please help!

Adderall can cause/increase acne– but so does pretty much everything it seems. Lowering the dose may or may not help. There is no way anyone can tell you for sure.
Depending on how you are doing now and the previous severity of your symptoms, it may not hurt to try it and see. Just keep in touch with your doc as you do so.
Remember as well, acne will need to run it’s course, and it may be months after you lower the dosage before you see any difference.
The adderall may have nothing to do with it at all though too.
In the end it boils down to a “Sanity versus Vanity” issue, and it’s up to you and your doc to decide what’s best.
