You searched for: Should Facial Surgery Be Made Compulsory For Everyone?

For those to say looks don’t matter, are living in a denial. In today’s times we can easily get rid of physical ugliness. Why do we have to put up with ugliness? We must make this world beautiful for the future generations. (Except for people who can’t afford cosmetic surgery)

I’m going to assume you’re joking. Surely no one could be this shallow? First of all, whose definition of beauty do we use? Some people may feel that brunettes under 5′5″, with blue eyes, high cheekbones and a turned up nose are the most attractive. Others may like tall people with long slim noses and a square chin. I mean, come on. This is such a dumb question. But, no matter what your definition of beauty, the inside ALWAYS ends up on the outside. If you are ugly on the inside, it will eventually show in your face. If you have a beautiful heart, it will shine out of your eyes like a beacon. I suggest you work on your heart and you won’t have to have surgery on your face.

that’s terrible. it’s not that easy. we need money to pay for the surgeries so a lot of people can’t afford it. and the definition of pretty is rather singular. so everyone would look the same. Try reading the book Uglies by Scott Westerfield, it’s probably your idea of an ideal world but maybe the book will help you understand why facial surgery shouldn’t be compulsory.
and making it beautiful for future generations? altering your face on the outside won’t pass on genetically!
and if people can’t afford cosmetic surgery, they’ll be left out. Facial surgery should be optional. you can’t force someone to have surgery. they can easily say that they don’t have the money for it. We should spend money on more important things. Combating diseases and helping the poor is way more important. there’s no point in looking gorgeous on the outside if you’re dying from sickness on the inside.

I think it should be compulsory to dispose of shallow, conceited, ugly-on-the-inside people like you.
Oh and by the way? “beautiful for the future generations”? You’re making it sound like people should get surgery to be beautiful so they can produce beautiful children. If that’s so, sorry honey, it’s called genetics. You pop out kids that look like you pre-surgery.

are you freaking crazy or just sadistic. it isn’t possible because one it’s dangerous, two why make everybody beautiful and three it doesn’t change genetics just your face into plastic. faults are what make people beautiful not perfections and i am an adamant believer that beauty comes from confidence. if people like you would stop putting regular looking people down everybody would be beautiful.

I don’t know. If it was made compulsory I think it should be made more for the sake of the individual. It is true that we live in a shallow society and it would be much easier for some people if they were more attractive. I don’t think that it’s right but it is true.

Maybe people concentrate more on being smart and having a good future rather than being beautiful.
Also have you seen plastic surgery gone wrong? Not beautiful.
