You searched for: How Do I Get Rid Of Frizzy And Bushy Hair?

I naturally have straight hair but I went to a holiday and I think they used strong shampoo and from then on, every time my hair is dry ( drying my hair after washing ) it goes frizzy and bushy. Every morning, i try flattening my hair but there are still hints that i have frizzy hair. I try using a straightner that drys your hair at the same time but it goes static and i prefer using a normal hair dryer anyway. Does anyone know how to get rid of the frizz?

Ok so do I, massive pain every morning etc etc but here’s how I live with it:
Get it cut. Most of my life I was being told long hair weighs it down, short hair will frizz out etc etc. However, when I got it cut to shoulder length with layers, I loved it. Less hair=Less time washing/putting on products/straightening etc, and it shouldn’t go outwards unless you get it above shoulder length. Get it trimmed regularly and ask your hairdresser for advice
Products. With frizzy hair you get a load more bad hair days where it just goes dry no matter what you do with it. So while it’s still wet, comb through and apply Frizz Ease or Loreal Liss Extreme Reflexium stuff. Then dry it-worth getting a good hairdryer eg babyliss pro radiance which is what I have :)
Straightening: I recommend babyliss pro 230, cheaper than ghd, work just as well and don’t break. I don’t know anyone who’s have broken, I have them and they work wonders. Getting a fringe will balance it out, and if you’re in a rush/concerned about damaging your hair you could straighten the fringe every day and the rest of your hair only occasionally.
Put it up: On those days when it just won’t go right (know them well :/), put it up in a ponytail, if it’s really really bad twist it into a bun.

Is your hair colored at all? If so, that will make your hair frizz more than it might normally. A few thoughts of additional things to try (since you’re already trying straightening product in your hair): (1) make sure that the shampoo you’re using is not too detergent-y (Pureology is an expensive, but great shampoo, but at the low -end Pantene products usually can be good too and make your hair shiny); (2) blow dry your hair fairly quickly after washing it (don’t let it air dry for a while first or it will fluff & frizz more); (3) use a rich hair masque that stays in your hair for several minutes before wash out (two times a week) – concentrate it on the ends of the hair and in the back of your head, that’s where hair frizzes most typically; (4) try a serum product like Chi that you run through your hair (only use about a quarter-sized amt and get most of it on the ends of your hair; (5) try using a teflon coated straightening iron on your hair when you really need it straight (it will make your hair really shiny, but you may not want to use it everyday – the heat could do damage over time – just for special occasions). Good luck.

Buy a smoothing balm that you apply to damp hair and blowdry. Static usually happens when you attempt to dry your hair without using a product such as gel or mousse.
