I am going to Puerto Rico in two weeks & I need a foundation that will stay & not run off like others have done so in the past. I have combination skin that gets dry in patches as well as oily so I will need a good moisturizer that will not break me out too. Last year I wore Clinique Perfectly Real but it just ran off my face. I am very fair and I found a shade of Estee Lauder Double wear that matches & a shade of MAC Studio Fix Fluid that matches. Which one do you think I should go with that will not rub off or be affected too much by the humidity? Please only suggest these two brands as I am hard to match & these are the ONLY two that have matched me. Also to note I HATE mineral foundation, with my skin it just DOES NOT work! Also, if I get a foundation from MAC or Estee I would like to get a moisturizer from that company too, but I don’t know which one to get. Is the skincare from Estee any good or MAC? I am 33 years old if that helps at all!

MAC! love the moistureizer and foundation it stayon a long time
MAC foundation is amazing for parties, but its oil based and will make you break out if you need to use it on a daily basis, so if your skin can’t take it; don’t use it. If you just need it for a short period of time, it’s ideal. It doesn’t run, and it lasts pretty much forever.
I am not familiar with Estee Lauder, so I can’t help you there, but I use bare minerals and it didn’t work on my skin either until I bought a primer from Smashbox; and now it works wonderfully and prevents breakouts. I have the same skin type as you, so hopefully this helped.
