no i don’t think your pitbull is a pure bred cause they have short hair they never have long hair and less they are mixed! and pitbulls don’t have a curly tail at all they got a straight tail! he might be mixed with a pitbull but hes not a pure bred! he American Pit Bull is a very muscular, stocky, yet agile dog which is extremely strong for his size. The ears are generally cropped, though this is optional. Docked tails are not accepted by the UKC or the ADBA. The eyes are round, and any color is acceptable. The teeth should form a scissors bite. Its coat is made up of thick, short, shiny hair. All colors are admissible. The tail tapers to a point.
a pure bred pitbull had short hair its never long! the puppy you got might be mixed with a dog that got long facial hair
lmao no
i dont think so but i bet he looks really cool
no…lol.. it doesn’t depend on the facial features
Sorry, but it sounds like it is not. I have pitbulls with papers and they don’t have long hair or curly tails. Pit bulls are known for skin problems because of their very short hair. (all over their body)
It could be a mix is all.
talk to ur vet
Pitbulls hair is usually short. I never seen a full bred pit with long hair only mixed breeds.
i don’t think so…
Dont sound like it. . . a curly tail is a sign of Chow Chow or Alaskan Malimute Look at your dogs tounge what color is it. Chows chows have a deep purple tounge.
Your pitt may have a spotted tounge look close is it deep purple spots?
Thats one way to tell on a chow chow is by its tounge if its all dark DARK purple then its full blooded but if it has a spotted tounge then its not pure. Thats why I say look at the tounge to see if there is a hint of chow.
1. First of all, “Pitbull” isn’t a breed. There are several breeds that are *considered* to be pitbulls by the government.
2. None of the above mentioned breeds have those characteristics, and with such a variety in the litter, sounds like you have a mutt on your hands.
It dosent sound like it.
well i dont know but if u look at his pedigree well his papers that they give you when you buy a dog that say who is his Dad and mom well things lik that
lol… no
hmm. i dont think so. pit bulls dont have surly tails. but as long as you love him, it doesn’t matter
Where did you get them from, because price would say it all.
I’m guessing their not purebred.
Yeah. That’s basically the only way you can tell right off the bat. My friend from LONG AGO had one like that, and his was a pure breed.
