You searched for: Do You Think It’s Embarassing For Men To Use Skincare And Grooming Products Or Is Everyone Doing It Now?

It is neither embarrassing or not embarrassing, it is simply a matter of individual choice.
Some men choose to use skin care and grooming products, while others do not.
It is hardly a new thing that everyone is doing now. As a child I saw advertisements for Brylcreem and men’s aftershave lotions and balms in magazines, what else are those except grooming products?
Men have always used grooming products and many have also used skin care products, but it has not been given as much attention in the media as it is now, and there probably was not the range available as there is nowadays.
Cheers :-)

Nothing wrong with moisturiser after shaving, just try not to go too heavy with the glitter!

  2. Grin Reaper says:

think it would be more embarassing having grotty skin

Don’t see what the big deal is about it. Here’s a test…look at a picture of a life-long farmer or sailor. There’s too many wrinkles and canyons to count in those faces. So if you want to have wrinkles like a prune in your 30s/40s(get there soon you will) by all means don’t use anything on your face.

    i think its great!!!!!

  5. thesunns says:

Not at all. I think a man who looks after his skin and grooming is great. I hate to see a scruffy man with dirty finger nails – what a turn off. We should all look after our skin regardless of our gender.

  6. Ms Dee says:

    Real men don’t exfoliate.

  7. Flying Fid says:

Some men do. Some even go as far as getting facials and manicures. If it makes you feel good then don’t be embarrassed.

    .i think its gay

I moisturise my skin everyday without fail and I use a few grooming products as well. I even wear a touch of make-up. There is nothing embarrassing about a guy wanting to look his best.

  11. Nothing wrong with looking after yourself is there

  12. .x.jodee says:

men should take care of their skin as well as women. nothing embarrassing about it

  13. drunkmag says:

I’m of the opinion that even girls shouldn’t use make up. They are just lying to themselves and everybody around them. I think people should just be honest with themselves…never going to happen but i think it should. Everybody would be much happier with themselves if there was no such thing.

  14. Simmo says:

    Only some kind of men

  15. Lord Percy Fawcette-Smythe. says:

Not even at all embarrassing. Lots and lots of men are doing it, it’s now a huge market. I wouldn’t feel one bit embarrassed. Look good!

  16. Gina Schock says:

no, its a good thing just as long as you don’t have a counter full of skin care products.

  17. Video Games says:

WHO CARES what other people think? If you like it and it makes you feel special or good somehow..just do it.. dont pontificate! I have always associated that sort of stuff with homosexual guys… they like to take care of themselves and feel good. Nothing wrong with that. (except u hog the bathroom) We are breeding new boys, and someone else has now decided its ‘fashionable’ for REAL men..snags….Whatever…. I always swore i could never go out with a guy who uses products.. Guess what? Im now stuck with a balding, wrinkled, dry skinned, grandpa eyebrow haired builder. Working in the sun 24/7 does it to you. He looks 20 years older than he is.
i SAY… look after yourself, cause no-one else will….and youll be laughing 20 yrs later at all the macho guys that laughed at you now… You’ll be calling ‘them’ daddy…….

  18. Absolutely not.
Nothing wrong in men pampering themselves
