  1. Well, it really depends on your boss. In my opinion, I say none at all. My b/f agrees. If you have it, and keep it, it needs to be well groomed and short. Best of luck :-)

In a professional environment, I think no facial hair is preferred for a ‘clean cut’ look on young men, whereas, as you get older, facial hair, such as a groomed/trimmed beard is seen as more of a distinguished look, and sometimes more professional… although, it’s a personal choice in the end.

If you look good with shaped then go with that. But if you don’t want the hassle of maintaining it then go with none.

It’s really a bunch of bullshit. What is professional? Ask yourself that. What? Someone with a suit, brief case, office keys? Some jobs make sense, fighter pilots, military, firefighters, to not have facial hair. But really? Would you pick UPS over Fedex based on their policies? What about doctors? If doc came in with the Rick Ross joint, would you not want him to do a check up on you? Anyone that is well groomed is just that. Any every time i see someone with just a mustache (cops), for some reason always look like a porn star.

  23. I rock a beard says:

I don’t understand who determines what is professional or not? I understand the dress code, but who cares if you have a beard? I agree it should be trimmed and groomed accordingly. Professional should be judged on mannerisms, completed projects and time management
