You need to find a salon that does waxing and shedule yourself the have it done when you need it. That is the best way really. You can wax it yourself to save money, but you might not be good at it in the beginning, but will get better with it later.

Just ignore it and go on with life! Your body, everywhere, is supposed to have hair on it and it's there for a reason. Don't fool with Mother Nature!

The best thing to do for facial hair is waxing it. It hurts a little, but it is quick and lasts a long time. As for the arm hair, I suggest you use Nair cream hair remover or a similar product. It only takes about 5 mins and its easy to do. Also, if you decide you want your hair back, it grows back exactly how you had it and doesn't seem thicker like it would seem if you shaved.

Shaving does NOT make the hair grow back thicker and darker. This is a myth. What does happen to make it more annoying after shaving...in addition to being stubbly...
is that when you shave a hair, you cut it in the middle of its growth, and when it comes back in, what you SEE coming back is the widest part of a CUT hair. If you PULL the hair out with tweezers, waxing, or epilady, etc you are removing all the hair that has been produced so what comes back is a new hair with its original tapered end.
It is kind of like how a tree grows, from a big thick trunk to little bitty twigs at the top. This is not possible, but it helps to understand...If you cut a tree from its trunk, and if it could continue to grow, (which it can't) the new "top" of the tree would be the place where you cut it, all wide and fat, and definitely more visible than a little sprout or a skinny little stick. But if you yanked the tree OUT from its roots and if it could grow back, it would resurface from the ground as a little seedling again. Does this make sense?
The problem is that hair growth doesn't stop even when you yank the hairs out, you have to KILL the follicle, which usually requires electricity and a certain amount of timing. I went to an electrolysis specialist a few times and couldn't afford to keep going. She said even if she did everything right, she had to keep zapping the same hair over and over again until she caught a stage when it was starting to grow...or something like that. Anyway, about two hundred dollars down the drain and I have as much hair as ever. I don't know if she killed any and more grew up because I am in a weird stage of life or what...at age 38 my body has changed a little bit lately.
Anyway, when you wax, I have heard that you can do enough damage to hair follicles that the hairs just don't grow back again. This is the promise of Nads too, the edible stuff that is supposed to be painless and hurts like hell. Which makes the whole process seem kind of traumatic, I don't know if I would want that for my SKIN.
There is Vaniqa, a prescription cream that works on, I think, the hormonal level, right there at the skin. Then they also say that if you talk to your gyno, you can get birth control pills that help balance the hair growth.
And there is epil stop, what these products do (the spray part after you remove the hair) is PLUG the follicle so the hair can't grow...I imagine this is like the opposite of Rogaine which unplugs the follicle so the hair CAN grow.
When I was getting electrolysis, I was encouraged that if I didn't come in for a while, and wanted to do something about the hair in between visits, NOT to pull them out with waxing or tweezers, etc. She said to SHAVE it. She said it was less traumatic to the skin than pulling them out, and less disruptive to the electrolysis process.
So from one hairy girl to another. I wish I was a little less bushy too...but so far, I have no answers, just experiences, and probably more myths.

I 've had Indo Asian friends who had some waxing done and they look gorgeous and their skin appears flawless. When complimented, they always laugh and say that being beautiful comes with a price, and the price is pain. They describe waxing and it does sound like torture. Waxing gets rid of face hair and arm and leg and even bikini line hairs.
Eyebrows can be plucked or threaded or mini waxed. Unfortunately, this whole business gets repeated every few weeks , I think.
Whoever said that women are the weaker sex must be out of their minds.

When I used to be 12, I hated the hair on my arms and legs. But then I tried "Nair" products and they come off easily. They are very inexpensive, about 4 USD. But you have to redo it about every 3 weeks.
