You could also look for the unusual. Research and see if there are any uses for aloe that people would not expect. Try to find the things that not everybody knows. Also, how many kinds of aloe are there? What are their latin names and how do they differ? Are they all used the same way? Or in different ways? What is aloe related to? What are those plants used for? Just a few ideas. You might be surprised yourself.
Aloes are native to Africa and are found in all sizes from groundcover to tree size. They are an ancient medicine plant and are mentioned in the Bible as being used in burial preparations. I believe the women who first arrived at the empty tomb of the Christ were carrying Aloe to use in embalming, to prepare the body in the traditional way. I do not know how they thought they could move that big rock, but they never had to! Jesus was long gone.
