The first post is correct. You have to complete 3 APFT task to pass, a certain amount of situps, pushups and a 2 mile run. The two things that female soldiers seem to find the most uncomfortable is the ruck during road marches and pull ups. So if you can “pad” your kidney pad and properly pack the ruck that will help and while you practice the big 3 throw in a full pull ups you’ll be fine.
The only other thing you might have to adjust to is loud commands. Drill Sargent’s have very big voices so get use to that as well
Do 500 push ups every other day. Get a backpack and fill it with 60 lbs of rocks and jog 10 miles everyday with it on.
That will prepare you for basic.
All you should bring with you is your holy book of choice, tanach, bible, hebrew bible .. whatever.
For me the hardest part was running. I wasn’t prepared to run everyday like we did. I would suggest that you run, do sit ups, and push ups everyday. That wil help you out in the long run. If you have any more questions feel free to email me.
Be prepared to fight and die for Israel and Oil, not for America.
start doing push ups..sit ups…and jogging …these are the three things you have to do to pass your physical training tests…you can bring lotion…soap…feminine products…the Drills are master fitness trainers…they will have you in shape quick anyway…but you practice 4 times a day before you go…you not have all of the initial pains everyone else will…good luck
