I have been on accutane a month and 2 weeks and am thinking since i have to be on accutane and when its over i will be left with all my marks still so it will take me time for them to heal. Could i use a cream at night that would help with the acne marks right now because it makes it look like i have more acne than i really do?

My acne is getting better but I have tons of permanent dark acne scars on my cheeks and they look really bad. I wear make-up to cover them but they’re still slightly visible.
Can anyone recommend me something that actually works and lightens scars?

I am 21 and have had acne for many years. I don’t mind the breakouts as much as the horrible marks they leave behind! I know this scarring is a common result from acne but gosh!! It is just hideous at the moment and makes me not want to go out at all:( This discoloration is very noticeable and does not cover the entire face. It is most obvious on the sides of my mouth. Any and all input is appreciated.

Though I’m not dark (I actually have rather fair skin considering my ethnicity), the skin on my face and arms is substantially darker than on the rest of my body. It’s a pretty ugly farmer’s tan! I spent a lot of time last summer outdoors, though I never purposely tried to bronze, but will the summer “tan” on my face and arms go away eventually, esp. with the passing of winter? Are there any skincare steps I could take to facilitate getting rid of my tan? Thanks in advance.
Also: I’ve heard that when you’re young, your skin has pretty good regenerative properties and will shed dead skin cells (ie tans) relatively fast. I’m seventeen right now… have I passed the age limit?

I have some acne scars on my cheeks. I know the indentions are pretty much permanent but I could care less about that. I’m just concerned about the color. Would a good exfoliater help reduce the appearance?

I have lots of stretch marks and I take myrac(minocycline) for acne. I don’t treat my stretch marks with cream or anything, but they are fading. Could that be because of my myrac?

I have ice pick acne scars and I was wondering what you can use to make it fade, or be less visible. (besides the really expensive microdermabrasion )

i have some scarring from past acne, and i was wondering if there were any products that i could find at like wal mart that would be able to fade them, i’ve looked at a few online, like olay and loreal, and i’ve read that there good. so if you could reccomend a product that actually gets rid of acne scars, that would be reall helpful thanks.
