Basically, my cosmetics, haircare, skincare and all that stuff has increased in the past year and I just can’t help myself from buying them. I love make-up and my hair curlers/straightners but my mum has a serious problem with me wearing that sort of stuff. We have tons of arguements and stuff. When I got angry I just told her to get used to it and that it’s my body so my rules.
I feel so much more confident when I wear make-up and have my hair done, maybe I’ve just got a low self esteem or maybe I’m just addicted!
I don’t know what to do because my mum is constantly banging on about this and it’s not about the money, just my health.
I can’t go natural because I’d feel so ugly, any suggestions?
(:

I’m 17 years old and my skin does not have any problem. Can I use the whitening cream to maintain my skin is lighter? Our people usually said that the younger should not to take any skin care to ensure their skin do not face any complication when their become old. Is it correct??

I have naturally blonde hair but ive dyed it black for the past three years.
For the past two months i stopped dying it and it doesn’t seem to be fading and the only difference is my horrible roots.
So i set an appointment to have them strip and bleach it.
Is theres anything that i should suggest or that i should do post hair appoinment.
And also if my hair comes out brassy would it work if i dyed it a blonde colour?

I’ve had problem skin ever since I remember, with extremely bad pimples and blackheads appearing non-stop. I’m now 18 and extremely sick of it. I’ve always used really strong pimple fighting products such as Environ, Proactiv, Dermalogica etc and still have bad breakouts nevertheless. What I’m wondering is, do you think it’s worth a go to try some “natural” and gentle skincare stuff like Burt’s Bees? I’m willing to give all the natural stuff a go, but I am really worried that it won’t stop my acne. What do you think?

I just dyed my hair and don’t wanna fry it but then my hair is impossible to just let go without using my straighener for anything. So if I do use it what degrees should I put it on, mine goes up to 200. Or are there any cute ideas for hair that doesn’t involve using a straightener?

I want to start taking care of myself as a woman would. I grew up around guys so there are some things I need to know that I haven’t been introduced to yet, such as skincare and other important things that need to be addressed.
What I’m planning on doing is starting my ‘experimenting’ next paycheck and go out and get a few things. But I’m not sure what to pick up. I don’t want to waste money on something useless or injure my skin by using something that was just tossed onto the market.
I want to feel pretty for once. I want to get rid of my clogged bumpy dark pours on my noes, find out how to really take care of my long hair, I want my face to look vibrant and pretty like I see most girl’s faces. I’m not ugly or anything, but I just want to know how to take better care of myself and look my best.
So I guess what I’m asking is:
What kind of products should I pick up for my skin and hair- or anything else I’m unaware of that’s important?
Also I don’t have that much $ to spend.

She has whiteheads and is getting scars because she picks at them. I know that she is starting puberty and I don’t know if this acne will be temporary. I don’t want to start her on something that could potentially harm her skin when these breakouts that she is getting could go away on their own.

I guess my hair is a little naturally wavy, but I straighten it every morning, and it looks real good until I get out the door and walk in this Southern humidity! The parts near my face get curly and it looks like poo by the end of the day. Is there a hairspray or something I can use to keep my hair straight all day, but won’t make my hair stiff?
