My 14 year old daugher and I are going to Las Vegas and dressing up formal for a show. I was thinking about taking her to the mall and getting her make-up done at one of the department stores. I don’t really know much about them. I have heard of girls doing this for prom or weddings. Do the make-overs cost anything? Do you need reservations? I would love to hear from anyone about there experience with this.

I was just wondering. I see black girls get their hair all done up on top of their heads with funky colors, and they will keep it that way for weeks at a time. How do they wash their heads? Doesn’t their scalp get itchy? Or do they just go weeks without washing their heads?
I was going to ask one of them, but I was scared.

The thing is worth thousands of dollars, and I have to be very careful about what skin care products to use—-this flea cannot die, it is a national treasure! Anyone who remembers the flea circuses of those times, any advice?

I’ve looked at two sites on Google to try and find help for my dry, acne prone skin and they seem good. However, I don’t want to go buying products and them not work. Also, for those of you with dry, acne prone skin again, what foundation do you use so your skin is not harmed (basically what are your makeup tips for me)? Any tips you have for me that you’ve used yourself and they’ve worked for your acne prone, dry skin please let me know them.

I never had acne as a teen, I am in my late 40’s now and this has started over the last year, usually always around my chin, occasionally by my nose. I havent changed products for cleansing or lotion or anything…. not even soap, so I can’t think of why this type is occuring. I did hear of something on tv about this type, under the skin, but I only caught a little of it. Did anyone else happen to see it? and what a good solution is? Ive used oil of olay for years, with never a problem. Ideas? any other ladys near this age get this? Ive tried the benzoil peroxide products like clearsil pads, etc, but they dont help this type. someone told me proactive helped this type, but I really hoped for something I didnt have to send off for. Thanks.

Hey guys! I have oily skin and when I wake up every morning, My T-zone is so oily, almost as if i apploed vaseline on it. My pores in the T-zone have also become large and I get blackheads consequently. Even when I get blackheads removed, they come back amost as soon as after one week. And as most of you’ll understand, blackheads then lead zits.
I really want to have manageable clear skin, without zits, marks or blackheads. I’m 21 and studying at a university so its really hard to wake up every other day, and see a huge zit around my nose. What do you guys use to maintain your oily skin? Are you able to close of pores and prevent acne? Please share you daily skin routine and tell me how effective it is….
